Marsh Court Health Centre is a new two-storey medical centre in Leominster, Herefordshire, delivered by Matrix IDC as main contractor for Frank H. Dale Ltd, with Osmond Tricks acting as client's agent. Fifteen years in the planning for the town, the building provides more than 30 consulting rooms, treatment spaces and a dedicated research facility, and will serve a community of over 20,000 people with capacity for 19 GPs and around 90 staff. Matrix IDC delivered every stage of the project, from groundworks and drainage on a challenging riverside site, through structure and envelope, to the complete internal fit-out. The building platform was engineered above flood level due to its position near the River Lugg, and the finished centre features natural materials throughout, complemented by bespoke joinery designed, manufactured and installed by our own in-house joinery division. The project was formally opened by Prof Sir Sam Everington, President of the Royal College of General Practitioners.
